Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, is seeking a Senior Leadership Recruiter to build and scale the Hardware Platform's leadership team. You will own end-to-end executive and leadership recruitment (Director, VP, and Principal-level roles) across Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing Engineering disciplines. In this strategic, hands-on role, you will partner closely with C-suite executives, founders, and VP-level engineering stakeholders to define organizational design and execute on critical leadership talent needs. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive market mapping and competitor analysis to identify and engage passive, top-tier talent; delivering white-glove candidate experiences from outreach through onboarding; designing and negotiating complex executive compensation packages including base, equity, and performance incentives; and tracking pipeline metrics and market trends to provide data-driven updates to leadership. You will leverage executive networking, referral campaigns, warm introductions, and advanced sourcing methodologies to engage highly coveted industry leaders. Deep understanding of Anduril's product positioning, technical roadmap, and mission is essential to effectively pitch leadership opportunities to passive candidates. Required: 8+ years recruiting experience with 3+ years in full-cycle executive, leadership, or principal-level technical search (internal or top-tier search firm preferred). Proven track record hiring leadership talent in complex engineering domains (Hardware, Aerospace, Robotics, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing). Experience advising C-suite and Founder-level stakeholders on hiring strategy. Deep knowledge of executive compensation models, equity valuations, and vesting. Exceptional assessment and communication skills with ability to manage highly confidential searches with discretion. Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements. Preferred: Experience in high-growth startups, top-tier tech, or aerospace/defense sectors (UAS, AAV, AUV). Comfort in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Resilience and creativity in navigating complex search obstacles. High ownership mentality and low ego with high curiosity.
