Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, is seeking a Senior Leadership Recruiter to build and scale the company's hardware engineering leadership team. You will own end-to-end executive and leadership recruitment across Hardware Platform disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing Engineering, reporting to and partnering closely with C-suite executives, founders, and VP-level stakeholders. Key responsibilities include executing full-cycle searches for Director, VP, and Principal-level individual contributors; establishing yourself as a strategic talent advisor to executive leadership; conducting comprehensive market mapping and competitor analysis to identify passive, top-tier talent; and delivering a white-glove candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding. You will design and negotiate complex executive compensation packages including base, equity structures, and performance-based incentives, and leverage executive networking, referral campaigns, and advanced sourcing to engage highly coveted industry leaders. You will track executive pipeline metrics, analyze market trends, and provide data-driven updates to stakeholders. Success requires deep understanding of Anduril's product positioning, technical roadmap, and mission to effectively pitch leadership opportunities to passive candidates. Required: 8+ years recruiting experience with 3+ years in full-cycle executive, leadership, or principal-level technical search (internal or top-tier search firm preferred). Proven track record hiring leadership in complex engineering domains (Hardware, Aerospace, Robotics, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing). Experience advising C-suite and founder-level stakeholders on hiring strategy. Deep knowledge of executive compensation models, equity valuations, and vesting. Exceptional assessment skills evaluating leadership capability and technical depth. Professional, discreet communication and ability to manage highly confidential searches. Must be a U.S. Person with access to U.S. export-controlled information. Preferred: Experience in high-growth startups, top-tier tech, or aerospace/defense sectors (UAS, AAV, AUV). Self-sufficient, comfortable in ambiguous fast-paced environments. Resilient, creative, and able to navigate complex obstacles. Exceptional active listening and ability to communicate complex narratives to senior candidates. High ownership and accountability. Low ego, high curiosity.
