Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, seeks a Senior Leadership Recruiter to build and scale the Hardware Platform's leadership team. You will own end-to-end executive and leadership searches (Director, VP, and Principal-level roles) across Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing Engineering disciplines. Key responsibilities include executing full-cycle leadership searches, establishing strategic partnerships with C-suite executives and founders to influence organizational design, conducting market mapping and competitor analysis to identify passive top-tier talent, and delivering white-glove candidate experiences from outreach through onboarding. You will design and negotiate complex executive compensation packages including base, equity, and performance incentives, deeply understand Anduril's product positioning and technical roadmap to pitch opportunities effectively, and track pipeline metrics and market trends to provide data-driven updates to executive stakeholders. You will leverage executive networking, referral campaigns, and advanced sourcing methodologies to engage highly coveted passive industry leaders. Required: 8+ years recruiting experience with 3+ years in full-cycle executive, leadership, or principal-level technical search (internal or top-tier search firm preferred). Proven track record hiring leadership talent in complex engineering domains (Hardware, Aerospace, Robotics, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing). Demonstrated experience advising C-suite and VP-level stakeholders on hiring strategy. Deep understanding of executive compensation models, equity valuations, and vesting schedules. Exceptional assessment skills evaluating leadership capability, strategic thinking, and cultural alignment. Professional, discreet communication with ability to build rapport with high-profile candidates. Experience managing highly confidential searches. Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information. Preferred: Experience in high-growth startups, top-tier tech, or aerospace/defense sectors (UAS, AAV, AUV). Self-sufficient, comfortable in ambiguous fast-paced environments. Resilient, creative, able to navigate complex obstacles and pivot strategies. Exceptional active listening and communication skills. High ownership mentality and low ego with high curiosity.
