Zūm is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join its engineering team building the Connected Mobility Experience (Zūm CMX™) platform. This role focuses on developing and maintaining iOS applications that serve the student mobility market, connecting students, families, schools, and transportation operations in real time.
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will take ownership of key iOS features and systems, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions that impact the platform's scalability and user experience. You'll work with a talented cross-functional team including product, design, backend engineers, and operations to deliver reliable, transparent, and efficient mobility solutions.
The role involves:
- Designing and implementing iOS features using modern Swift and iOS frameworks
- Collaborating with backend teams to integrate APIs and real-time data systems
- Optimizing app performance, reliability, and user experience across diverse device types
- Participating in code reviews and establishing best practices for iOS development
- Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence
