Salary: USD 72,300 - 119,300 / annual

nCino, a cloud banking platform, seeks a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to develop and execute strategic communication initiatives that drive employee engagement and support business objectives. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple channels and audiences. Key responsibilities include owning the planning, content development, and stakeholder coordination for company-wide events such as quarterly Town Halls and the annual CKO event. You will develop comprehensive communication strategies for internal organizational initiatives, creating original stories and content that connect employee work to broader business goals. The role requires creating and distributing employee-facing content across multiple channels including the company intranet, Slack, digital signage, and email. You will create executive leadership communications including C-suite messages, leadership presentations, and executive thought leadership content. The position involves conducting stakeholder analysis and developing targeted communication approaches for complex business issues affecting multiple audiences. You will lead cross-departmental communication projects and represent the function independently in senior-level meetings. Additional responsibilities include overseeing governance of the company intranet and serving as a connective bridge between the intranet and the enterprise knowledge management (EKM) platform. You will provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and support crisis communication planning and execution as needed in partnership with senior leadership. Required qualifications include an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of professional related experience. You must have a proven record of developing successful communication strategies and campaigns, including employee-facing storytelling content. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for various audiences and channels are essential. Experience independently managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects such as large-scale internal events and advanced proficiency in communication measurement and analytics are required. Desired qualifications include experience in publicly traded companies or highly regulated industries, professional certifications (APR, ABC, or similar), experience with digital communication platforms and emerging communication technologies, background in change management communications or organizational transformation, and crisis communication and issues management experience.
