Coinbase is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager to partner with the People Success team and Chief People Officer, shaping how people strategy and programs reach every employee through clear, compelling communications.
You will serve as the dedicated internal communications strategic partner to the People Success organization, owning the communications strategy for all People programs and company-wide rollouts. This is a high-visibility role advising the CPO and senior People leaders on complex, high-stakes moments including organizational changes, policy shifts, leadership transitions, and major announcements. You'll craft messaging that is clear, human-centered, and builds trust across the organization.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing internal communications strategy for the People Success team; advising C-suite leaders on sensitive messaging; owning monthly town halls, leadership communications, and team resources; writing and editing executive-level content including CPO communications, town hall scripts, company announcements, and FAQs; building scalable communications infrastructure including editorial calendars, playbooks, and measurement frameworks; coordinating with the broader Internal Communications team to ensure People messaging aligns with company narrative; and leveraging data, employee insights, and AI-enabled workflows to measure impact and continuously improve.
You bring 10+ years of experience in internal communications, strategic communications, change communications, or product marketing, with proven success advising C-suite or VP-level leaders on complex, high-stakes messaging. You have a strong track record producing executive-level content that drove measurable engagement or adoption outcomes, with excellent writing, editing, and narrative development skills. You possess executive presence and interpersonal effectiveness, with confidence to influence decisions and build trust quickly with senior leaders. You can manage a broad portfolio of concurrent initiatives across multiple senior stakeholders while maintaining a coordinated strategy. You have demonstrated ability to build scalable communications processes, systems, and measurement frameworks from scratch. You use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
