Ivo is a contract intelligence platform that uses AI to automate contract review and analysis for enterprise customers like Uber, Meta, Canva, IBM, and Shopify. The company recently raised Series B funding and has grown 800% in the past 12 months.
As Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will own the foundation of Ivo's platform. Each customer runs in an isolated environment with dedicated containers, databases, and VPCs. You'll be responsible for ensuring reliability, performance, and security across multi-cluster, multi-region deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and operate Kubernetes clusters across AWS, GCP, and Azure with multi-region failover and disaster recovery that actually works in production
- Build internal tooling for cluster management and environment provisioning so dev-to-prod is consistent and reproducible
- Design workload isolation strategies that balance cost, performance, and reliability for ML and API traffic with different requirements
- Implement enterprise-grade security (RBAC, workload identity, secrets management, data residency, audit trails) without slowing product velocity
- Define and enforce SLOs that are realistic and actionable
- Own CI/CD infrastructure using GitHub Actions and Pulumi (infrastructure as code)
- Maintain Docker environments across dev, staging, and production
- Debug end-to-end across the stack (APIs, workers, jobs, frontend builds) rather than staying siloed to infrastructure
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve build times and developer experience
- Build observability and monitoring that surface issues before customers report them
- Lead incident response and write postmortems that drive learning
You should have 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes at scale, infrastructure as code (Terraform/Pulumi), CI/CD pipelines, and Docker. You think in failure modes and design systems defensively. You're comfortable translating compliance and legal requirements into infrastructure constraints. You debug systematically and aren't afraid to go deep across layers. You thrive in startup environments with ambiguity and have a bias toward action. Experience with LLMs and AI workloads is a plus.
