Salary: USD 84,000 - 108,500 / annual
Virta Health is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to build and scale the company's people data and analytics capabilities. You'll work at the intersection of People, Technology, and Data, maintaining Workday and analytics infrastructure while translating complex people data into actionable insights for leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with People and cross-functional teams to optimize and configure Workday across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation, and Performance modules
- Design and maintain scalable people analytics solutions using Workday Reporting, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Google Apps to deliver insights across the employee lifecycle
- Perform advanced data analysis to support workforce planning, organizational health, DEI initiatives, compensation strategy, and operational decision-making
- Establish best practices for people data governance, documentation, and self-service analytics
- Audit Workday bi-annual releases to assess impact and recommend feature adoption
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches and communicate findings to drive action
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system efficiency
Within 90 days, you'll build understanding of Virta's people data ecosystem, support active Workday initiatives, deliver high-impact dashboards addressing priority questions, establish relationships with leadership and partners, and identify scalability improvements.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in HRIS or People Analytics roles; advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Apps expertise; hands-on Workday support and maintenance experience; strong Workday Report Administrator skills including reporting, calculated fields, dashboards, and Discovery Boards; ability to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders; deep understanding of HR data governance and best practices; experience in fast-growing, scaling organizations.
