The Farmer's Dog is a direct-to-consumer pet food company on a mission to transform the $90 billion pet food industry by replacing processed kibble with personalized, fresh dog food subscriptions. The Senior HRIS Analyst will be a key technical leader within the People (Humans) group, owning the design, implementation, and maintenance of all HR systems initiatives. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for HRIS end users, ensuring data integrity, managing system changes, and identifying process improvement opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Manager of HRIS, you'll partner across the People team and cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational and systems design excellence in support of the company's growth. Key responsibilities include: - Own day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the Workday HRIS environment - Configure and test business-as-usual activities (Open Enrollment, Releases, scheduled processes), enhancements, and break/fixes - Collaborate with People, Business Systems, IT, Finance, and other teams to gather, document, implement, and optimize business requirements - Create and maintain process documentation and training materials; provide technical support and troubleshooting - Identify continuous improvement opportunities with focus on automation, operational efficiency, and security - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of HR data through validation processes and regular audits - Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and data security standards - Design and develop advanced custom reports for business users and leadership The ideal candidate brings 4-5+ years of HR process and systems improvement experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on Workday HRIS implementation or post-production support. You should have experience running BAU activities such as Open Enrollment, Workday Releases, handbook changes, and annual schedule refreshes. Experience updating business processes, configuring Workday tools (plans, groups, notifications, templates), and building complex calculated fields is essential.
