Key responsibilities include: **Offboarding & Exits**: Manage end-to-end employee separations across multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance and superior customer experience. Lead termination meetings, workforce reduction consultations, and separation negotiations. Draft and administer all termination documents with strict attention to detail and privacy compliance. Process offboarding through Remote's HRIS platform, coordinating with payroll, legal, benefits, and other internal teams. **Employee Relations**: Provide first-level ER support to clients navigating workplace concerns. Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace issues, identify applicable local regulations, and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders for appropriate resolution. Guide clients through progressive discipline approaches and documentation requirements. Monitor ongoing cases for timely follow-up. **Stakeholder Coordination**: Liaise with internal teams (Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits) and external parties (government bodies, trade unions, legal counsel) to ensure compliant and auditable offboarding processes. Serve as subject-matter expert on offboarding matters for both internal and external queries. **Process Improvement**: Actively identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and product enhancements that elevate customer and employee experience. Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with Remote's values and goals.
