Float is Canada's intelligent financial operating system, combining modern financial services and software to help businesses spend, save, and grow. Trusted by more than 7,500 Canadian companies, Float provides high-limit corporate cards, automated expense management, next-day bill payments, high-yield accounts, and industry-leading support. Recently raised $85M Series C and backed by top-tier investors including Inovia Capital, Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and OMERS Ventures.
In this role, you'll own the mid-to-bottom funnel conversion strategy and execution for Float's newly relaunched website as the company expands into new markets. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, you'll be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive web conversion rate optimization (CRO) roadmap, designing segmented self-serve and AE-led customer journeys, and establishing clear handoff logic between marketing and sales.
Key responsibilities include: owning the CRO roadmap end-to-end with testing plans and lift reporting; building and iterating landing pages by segment and vertical; designing self-serve and AE-led site journeys with product and sales partnerships; defining visitor routing between self-serve and sales-assisted motions; owning lower-funnel demand capture and MQL/SAO criteria with the XDR team; partnering with RevOps on testing frameworks and reporting; and bringing rigor to experimentation with sound test design and statistical significance validation.
You'll need 5+ years of hands-on CRO or web optimization ownership at high-growth companies with direct accountability for conversion outcomes. Deep technical comfort with Webflow (or similar platforms), A/B testing tools, and analytics/heatmapping is essential. You should have a proven track record designing customer journeys across different segments and motions, with strong analytical instincts and the ability to read results honestly. Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, sales, and ops teams to ship changes without breaking other priorities is critical. You're comfortable with ambiguity, ruthless prioritization against limited resources, and have integrated AI tools into your day-to-day workflow for research, synthesis, and experimentation.
This is a hands-on, executional role for someone who lives and breathes conversion optimization and wants direct influence on how a fast-growing fintech turns visitors into pipeline.
