Salary: USD 90,000 - 110,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the future of energy and intelligence. As Senior General Ledger Accountant, you'll be the owner of all prepaid expenses and lease accounting for the company.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing new lease agreements and modifications to determine accounting implications, reconciling monthly lease journal entries to LeaseQuery, and collaborating with Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to track lease commencement dates. You'll reconcile lease liabilities and ROU asset balances from LeaseQuery to the general ledger, manage the prepaid expenses sub-ledger reconciliation, and prepare monthly and year-to-date prepaid asset waterfalls across Crusoe's consolidated entities.
You'll play a key role in the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, supporting fluctuation analysis, and partnering with Cloud Operations, Data Infrastructure, and other accounting functions on lease modifications and prepaid matters. You'll also support audit and due diligence requests as needed.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, comfortable with large data volumes, and energized by finding smarter, more efficient processes. You'll work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and stay ahead in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience with lease accounting
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Working knowledge of internal controls and accounting best practices
- Understanding of consolidations, joint ventures, and intercompany transactions
- Exposure to and understanding of month-end financial reporting processes
