Dandy is transforming the dental industry by building an operating system for dental practices globally. The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the remote CAD and 3D team, supporting web-based 3D toolsets across the internal supply chain.
You will develop and maintain world-class web applications supporting a robust suite of 3D design interactions. Key responsibilities include orchestrating the availability of 3D tools to the internal workforce based on supply chain event triggers, coordinating submission and storage of browser-based CAD outputs to the cloud, and distributing outputs to remote manufacturing centers. You'll support and develop internal APIs, endpoints, and microservices, instrument tools to provide rich data insights for capacity planning and forecasting, and build integrations with third-party APIs to transmit 3D data payloads for processing.
You'll solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, craft code meeting internal standards for style and maintainability, and advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance through code review and technical leadership.
Required: 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in backend development using TypeScript and NodeJS. Strong experience with back-end systems (NestJS, NodeJS, GraphQL). Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, ability to thrive in remote-first environments, strong team collaboration, and effective communication around risks and trade-offs.
Bonus: Familiarity with 3D file formats, transmission, storage, cloud infrastructure interactions, and digital dental design tools. Tech stack: TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, React, Google Cloud Platform, THREE.js, C++, WASM.
