Taktile is building a platform for creating, publishing, and executing AI-powered agents that help teams automate complex workflows in financial services. The Agents team owns the agent execution runtime, tool orchestration, and platform infrastructure that powers conversational copilot experiences across the product.
You'll join as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and ship production features across the entire stack. On the backend, you'll work with Python (FastAPI) on AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway). On the frontend, you'll build conversational copilot experiences using React and TypeScript, including chat UI components, streaming responses, rich in-chat interactions, and human-in-the-loop approval workflows.
Key responsibilities include: building end-to-end features for the AI agent platform; improving agent execution, tool orchestration, and error handling; owning work from scope through implementation, testing, release, and iteration; using AI tools like Claude daily to accelerate development; conducting thorough code reviews and raising engineering standards; and participating actively in team rituals (syncs, planning, demos, technical discussions). You'll also grow your DevSecOps skills through daytime ops duty and eventual on-call rotation participation.
Required: strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for simplicity and precision; fluent English (written and spoken); prior industry experience building full-stack web applications; proficiency in React and TypeScript with experience building rich, interactive UIs; Python backend development experience with RESTful APIs and databases; AWS or similar cloud provider integration experience.
Nice-to-have: chat/conversational UI experience; real-time/streaming interfaces; FastAPI and Pydantic; DynamoDB or Postgres with SQLAlchemy; LLM application development, agent frameworks, or MCP exposure; prior ops/on-call experience; distributed systems, async task processing, or observability tooling experience.
