Adverity is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own the technical direction and delivery of solutions within one of their product development teams. This is a hybrid role based in Vienna with an expectation of 3 days per week in-office presence.
In your first month, you'll onboard with your product development team, familiarize yourself with Adverity's products, technologies, systems, architecture, and engineering culture while ramping up on the codebase.
Within the first 6 months, you'll conduct deep code reviews to guide the team toward better system quality and engineering practices. You'll participate in shaping new features by building proofs of concept, breaking down technical scopes, and working on team deliverables.
Beyond 6 months, you'll leverage deep knowledge of the Adverity platform to participate in strategic cross-product engineering initiatives. You'll help product teams make pragmatic technical decisions, improve maintainability and reliability, and expand your impact across the entire engineering organization.
You bring a product-driven mindset with a focus on understanding users and solving real problems with intuitive tools. You're fluent in Python and preferably Django, with experience managing large-scale production systems and building REST APIs. You have strong communication and collaboration skills, working proactively with product, design, engineering, and other stakeholders.
A key differentiator is your daily use of AI tools (coding copilots, LLM-based design assistants, automation agents) and ability to integrate AI reasoning and automation into workflows across coding, documentation, testing, and deployment. You're passionate about learning, experimenting, and turning new AI tools into practical, repeatable workflows while keeping user value at the core.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience mentoring and coaching engineers, familiarity with data products and their challenges, and skill in demonstrating AI-driven productivity to peers and driving adoption within technical teams.
The company offers flexible working hours, home-office options, an internal shares program, ergonomic workspace with cutting-edge technology, training budget, regular team events, modern offices, sustainable merchandise, paid social responsibility days, and public transportation support in Vienna.
