Re:Build Manufacturing is building Reflow, an AI-powered platform purpose-built for hardware product development. The platform listens across tools teams already use, maintains a structured picture of every program, and proactively coordinates across disciplines when changes occur. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll be a hands-on contributor shaping the user experience of this high-potential product with the backing of a parent company leading innovation in engineering and manufacturing. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build interfaces that replace the spreadsheets and status meetings hardware teams have relied on for decades. Your day-to-day work includes building production-grade React applications with TypeScript, developing and maintaining a shared component library, and creating rich interfaces for structured engineering data such as requirements with traceability, phase/gate tracking, dependency graphs, and task boards. You'll also build interfaces for AI agent interactions including streaming chat, proactive coordination alerts, and AI-generated status summaries and deliverables like proposals, SOWs, and reports. Additional responsibilities include implementing portfolio-level dashboards for engineering leaders and executives showing cross-project cost, schedule, and risk; writing well-tested code with unit and end-to-end tests; collaborating with backend engineers on API integration; and contributing to frontend architecture decisions and engineering best practices. You must have 5+ years building production web applications with 3+ years focused on React, expert-level expertise with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, and strong experience with component-driven development and design systems. Proficiency with CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS preferred), modern build tools (Vite, esbuild), and API integration patterns is required. Demonstrated proficiency using AI coding tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude is essential. Highly valuable experience includes working in early-stage startup environments, familiarity with hardware development or engineering workflows, experience building UIs for AI/LLM-powered features, and familiarity with headless component libraries.
