BusRight is modernizing student transportation through software and hardware that gives school districts real-time visibility into bus fleets, improves student safety, and brings operational efficiency to a decades-old system. The company is backed by leading growth investors.
Finance is building an AI-native department that moves from reporting on historical performance to delivering real-time insights for better decision-making. The company has already migrated to an AI-native general ledger (Rillet) and is now rebuilding its Salesforce foundation to feed clean go-to-market data into Aleph, an intelligence layer that provides a single repository across go-to-market and financial systems with dashboards and real-time insights for leadership.
In this role, you will manage the monthly forecast and reporting cycle, own SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC payback, Rule of 40, burn multiple, and hardware financing economics), and prepare materials for the board and investors. You will lead the implementation of Aleph and build AI workflows and agents that pull actuals, flag variances, and draft first-pass commentary. You will also own go-to-market analytics as the lead analyst for the Revenue organization, spanning pipeline, funnel conversion, retention, and sales productivity. You'll work directly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders and report to the CFO with significant delegated responsibility.
Key responsibilities include: managing the monthly forecast and budget-vs-actual cycle with variance commentary that explains drivers; owning SaaS and company-level metrics; implementing and maintaining Aleph; leading go-to-market analytics; preparing board and investor reporting materials; building AI workflows and agents that automate recurring analysis with defensible checks and reconciliations; and developing scenario and decision models for pricing, headcount ROI, and capital allocation.

Nice-to-haves:
- Experimentation with AI tools in personal or professional work
- Exposure to SaaS or recurring-revenue businesses through deal work or operating experience
- Experience supporting a fundraise or M&A transaction
- Experience with hardware or tech-enabled companies
