Whistic is an agentic risk operations platform that helps security and compliance teams assess, monitor, and manage third-party vendor risk through automated assessments, continuous monitoring, and compliance controls. The company replaces manual risk processes with intelligent workflows, delivering audit-ready visibility.
You will serve as Senior Finance & Accounting Manager, reporting directly to the CEO, and own both strategic finance partnership and core accounting operations. This is a fully remote role based in the U.S.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own the monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation, ensuring accurate and audit-ready books
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable and vendor/expense management
• Handle state and local tax compliance including sales tax, franchise tax, and business registrations
• Build and maintain budgets and financial models that support business strategy
• Own cash flow visibility and prepare monthly/quarterly forecasting for leadership decision-making
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis for leadership and board meetings
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, People, and Leadership to influence key financial decisions and shape business strategy
• Identify and implement process improvements as the company scales
• Collaborate with the People & Culture Manager on payroll approval, compensation, and state/insurance administration
• Leverage AI and modern tools to improve efficiency and work smarter
You will move fluidly between strategic financial planning and hands-on accounting execution, directly influencing company decisions while maintaining operational excellence.
