Opal Security is an AI-native access platform providing real-time visibility, policy-as-code, and control over identities—employees, service accounts, and AI agents. The company has raised $59M from top-tier investors (Greylock, Battery Ventures, SVCI) and was named to Notable Capital's Rising in Cyber 2026 list. Leadership includes CEO Howard Ting (formerly CEO of Cyberhaven, CMO at Nutanix), CPO Sameer Mehta (Veza, Citrix), and CTO Alex Pien (Meta).
As Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will own Opal's field and experiential marketing motion end-to-end as a pipeline channel. This is not a hospitality role—events are measured by ROI and their contribution to pipeline generation.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the complete field and experiential marketing strategy, from strategy through execution
- Manage booth presence and activations across identity-focused and practitioner events
- Design and execute intimate executive formats (dinners, roundtables) that drive meaningful engagement with CISOs and security leaders
- Manage speaker operations and call-for-papers (CFP) submissions, leveraging Opal's technical speakers as a strategic asset
- Build and own the regional event calendar, allocate budgets, and model ROI per event
- Coordinate partner-hosted and co-branded events with channel partners, aligned to pipeline goals
- Ensure seamless handoff from events to SDRs and AEs to convert programs into qualified opportunities
You will inherit no existing calendar, vendor relationships, or precedent—you own the decisions and results.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of field or event marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in security or infrastructure
- Proven track record measured in pipeline and opportunities generated, not leads or attendance metrics
- Experience running intimate executive formats (dinners, roundtables) that attract C-level and investor participation
- Ability to own event budgets and make data-driven kill/keep decisions
- Comfort working directly with technical speakers and translating practitioner-focused agendas
- Strategic perspective on scaling field functions through leverage and AI, rather than linear headcount growth
