Nimble is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager to own the company's presence across industry conferences, regional summits, developer hackathons, meetups, and customer events. This is a full-cycle ownership role with real autonomy—no coordinator support—focused on driving pipeline and measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Budget: Decide which events to invest in and build the annual calendar (conferences, hackathons, summits, executive dinners, partner activations). Own the full budget, including sponsorship and vendor negotiation. Build and leverage partner relationships to amplify presence.
Execution: Manage venue selection, contracts, run-of-show, speaking slots, and booth design. Design programming for executive dinners and summits that justifies attendee time. Brief executives and sales teams on consistent messaging. Make on-site decisions independently when issues arise.
Pipeline & Follow-up: Build target lists with Sales before events. Own post-event follow-up to ensure leads don't stall. Partner with the Ecosystem team on hackathons and meetups where working demos build trust.
Measurement: Report ROI per event to leadership (meetings and pipeline generated, not badge scans). Kill formats that don't convert. Bring data-driven perspective to GTM planning.
Required Experience:
4+ years managing events at high-growth B2B tech companies (AI/data space preferred). Deep relationships across enterprise and AI-native technical companies; SF or NY connections a plus. Proven success with both developer-focused events (hackathons, technical conferences) and executive-level events (dinners, summits). Full event lifecycle ownership: planning, logistics, execution, follow-up. Strong vendor management, budgeting, and negotiation skills. Data-driven mindset with ability to define metrics and track ROI.
How You Work:
Highly organized, juggling multiple events and stakeholders. Creative approach to programming and event design. Autonomous operator from concept to follow-up. Clear communicator with executives and cross-functional teams. Calm under pressure. Focused on pipeline outcomes, not attendance metrics.
