You will own and grow a defined enterprise territory as a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, driving net-new logo acquisition and account expansion. This is an individual contributor role for a proven enterprise seller comfortable navigating complex, competitive deals with multi-stakeholder buying groups.
Key responsibilities include: owning a defined territory with annual quota targets; building and managing a robust pipeline of complex enterprise transactions from prospecting through close; penetrating large organizations and engaging C-level and VP-level decision makers; developing compelling business cases connecting Cohesity's AI-powered data security platform to customer outcomes in security, resilience, compliance, and cost optimization; partnering with sales engineers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders on coordinated account strategies; maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce; and leveraging AI and productivity tools to improve deal quality and support data-driven decision making.
Ideal candidates bring extensive quota-carrying enterprise sales experience selling complex technology solutions, demonstrated success with Information Security and Cybersecurity teams, deep understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards, and knowledge of data security architectures and ransomware resilience. Experience with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles), NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale is strongly preferred. You should have a strong track record closing high-value enterprise contracts, executive-level communication skills, experience working with channel partners and cross-functional teams, and willingness to travel within your territory. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience) and professional English proficiency required.
