Snowflake is seeking a Senior District Manager for Enterprise Acquisition to lead and scale a high-performing sales team in the Denver area. This role combines hands-on sales leadership with strategic team building, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions and database infrastructure.
You will recruit, develop, and mentor a team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth while maintaining Snowflake's culture and values. Your responsibilities include building cross-functional relationships with sales engineering, product, and technical partners; influencing go-to-market strategy for high-growth startups; and coaching your team through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performing enterprise sales team
- Coach Account Executives on complex technical evaluations, deal control, and creating urgency
- Guide teams through complex legal and commercial negotiations with procurement and legal teams
- Work with sales engineering to develop migration plans and business cases for new logo acquisition
- Develop territory strategy and ensure consistent forecast execution
- Build relationships with C-suite buyers (CEOs, CTOs, Heads of Product/Engineering/Data Science)
- Foster a team culture aligned with Snowflake's core values
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 10+ years selling cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytics tools, or applications software
- 2+ years managing a sales team
- 2+ years guiding Account Executives through complex legal and commercial negotiations
- Proven track record of outperforming targets as an individual contributor in outbound roles
- Experience selling to enterprise technical buyers
- Ability to coach teams on customer targeting, opportunity pursuit, and deal navigation
