Eikon Therapeutics, a newly public clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company founded on Nobel Prize-winning innovations, seeks a Senior Director of Total Rewards to lead the strategy, design, governance, and execution of comprehensive Total Rewards programs. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with Executive Leadership, the Board's Compensation Committee, Finance, Legal, and HR to develop and evolve compensation, equity, benefits, and recognition programs that attract and retain exceptional talent while supporting business strategy and public company compliance. Key responsibilities include: developing Total Rewards strategy aligned with business objectives and high-performance culture; designing and overseeing broad-based and executive compensation programs including base salary, incentives, equity, and recognition; owning compensation architecture including salary structures, job levels, career frameworks, market-pricing, pay equity, and pay transparency; leading equity compensation strategy and governance in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Stock Administration; advising on executive compensation, equity design, and SEC reporting with the CPO and Compensation Committee; leading health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, and leave program strategy and administration; ensuring compliance with SEC, SOX, IRS, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other regulatory requirements; and overseeing Total Rewards technology, reporting, and analytics infrastructure. You are an experienced Total Rewards leader with deep expertise across compensation, executive compensation, equity, benefits, and governance. You are equally comfortable developing strategy, conducting complex compensation analyses, advising senior executives, and preparing Compensation Committee materials. You understand public company requirements and can translate complex data, market practices, and regulatory considerations into clear recommendations. You are collaborative, hands-on, and enjoy developing strong teams, building scalable programs, and partnering across functions.
