The company's lead candidate, lorundrostat, is a selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor.
The Senior Director of Scientific Communications & Medical Communications will lead strategy and execution of scientific communications, medical information, and publication planning to support the company's pipeline and eventual commercial launch. This role is critical in shaping the scientific narrative, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across internal and external communications.
Key responsibilities include:
Scientific Communications & Content: Lead development of disease-state and product-specific materials (slide decks, digital tools, publication extenders) in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders. Ensure the scientific communication platform aligns with medical communications objectives through cross-functional collaboration. Drive omni-channel scientific communications strategy aligned with Medical Affairs and corporate objectives. Develop and implement publication plans to support scientific visibility and credibility. Stay current on evolving medical communications trends, best practices, and channels.
Medical Information: Oversee development of standard and custom responses to medical inquiries. Establish processes and systems for managing medical information requests and ensuring timely, accurate, compliant responses. Partner with regulatory and clinical teams on medical information strategy.
Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to deliver impactful scientific exchange aligned with corporate and program objectives. Build and scale the scientific communications function in a dynamic biotech environment. Ensure scientific story dissemination with accuracy, impact, and credibility.
