Checkout.com is a global fintech payments platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. The company operates across 20 offices on six continents with London as headquarters. You will lead regional marketing strategy and execution for the Americas, overseeing end-to-end marketing efforts across the United States. This is a high-impact leadership role managing a growing team and an $8–10 million annual budget, with dual reporting to the Head of North America Revenue and Global CMO. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing integrated go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals for new customer acquisition, upsell, and retention in collaboration with North America Commercial leadership • Leading regional marketing strategy across digital ABM, PR, field marketing, and events, with a focus on enterprise customer engagement • Managing and growing a team of marketers with varying expertise, fostering a high-performance environment built on trust and ownership • Allocating resources strategically to maximize ROI and support regional commercial priorities • Driving alignment between regional marketing plans and global functional teams while adapting programs for the US market • Measuring performance, using insights to optimize strategy, and communicating results to senior stakeholders • Staying abreast of market dynamics and industry trends to ensure marketing efforts remain competitive You will act as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders, influencing cross-functional teams (Commercial, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, global marketing) to deliver cohesive regional plans. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of strategic B2B marketing experience with a focus on enterprise marketing and events management. Extensive experience in payments, fintech, or complex enterprise software is highly desirable. You should demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management skills, excellent communication across all levels, strong analytical capabilities, and proven ability to develop innovative marketing strategies in matrixed, global environments.
