StubHub seeks a Senior Director of People & HR Business Partnership to lead two interconnected mandates: senior HR business partnership for Product and Technology organizations, and ownership of learning and development strategy company-wide.
In the People Partnership role, you will serve as the senior HR strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Data, Design, and technology leadership. You'll translate business strategy into organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, performance management, and leadership priorities. You'll coach senior leaders through high-stakes moments including reorganizations, promotions, performance conversations, leadership transitions, and difficult exits. You'll lead and develop the HRBP team supporting Product and Technology, setting a high bar for business partnership, judgment, and execution. You'll partner with Finance on workforce planning, organizational health, and team structure; with Legal on complex employee relations and sensitive investigations; with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy and talent density; and with Total Rewards on compensation and equity decisions.
In the Learning & Development role, you'll design and own StubHub's learning strategy across all employees, managers, and leaders. You'll own manager development company-wide, with particular focus on new and first-time managers. You'll translate insights from your HRBP work into practical programs and systems that raise capability across the organization.
This is not a traditional HRBP or L&D role. You'll be a senior people leader who can diagnose team health, lead through difficult moments, coach executives, and translate insights into scalable systems and programs. You should be direct, high-judgment, operationally strong, hands-on, AI-forward, and comfortable in a fast-paced business that expects ownership and pace.
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) at Century City or Aliso Viejo, CA.
