Braze is seeking a Senior Director of GTM Product Marketing to lead the bridge between core product messaging and field execution. This is a player-coach role managing a small, growing team of GTM product marketers while remaining hands-on in strategic work.
You will own the field narrative—translating core product messaging into compelling stories that resonate with Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Partners across different personas, segments, and funnel stages. You'll design and maintain the systems through which product information reaches the GTM organization: plays, narratives, assets, and channels that ensure sellers understand what Braze offers, who it serves, why it matters now, and how to win against competitors.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing go-to-market narratives and playbooks that make complex technology legible to the field
• Owning GTM strategy for technology and services delivery partnerships—enabling partners on products, launching joint motions, and aligning priorities
• Leading GTM narrative for Braze Services (support, onboarding, education) as a customer differentiator
• Building and developing a team of GTM PMMs, setting priorities, raising craft standards, and scaling the function globally
• Partnering daily with Sales, Solutions Consultants, and CS leaders to understand deal stalls, field needs, and how to translate product value into opportunity-moving language
• Translating complex technology into buyer language and coaching the field to do the same
• Leveraging AI judiciously as a force multiplier in messaging and execution
• Prioritizing ruthlessly—focusing team energy on high-impact narratives, launches, and plays
• Spending time with customers, bringing insights back into messaging, playbooks, and roadmap conversations
Success is measured against pipeline impact, product adoption, pipeline progression, and overall program outcomes. You'll be expected to demonstrate clear connections between your work and business results.
You are a marketer energized by working closely with Sales and Customer Success—trusted by the field as a subject-matter expert and by Marketing as a strategic partner. You're a messaging craftsperson who can take positioning and complex products and turn them into sharp, memorable, sales-ready narratives. You hold yourself accountable to business outcomes, not activity, and you have the judgment and confidence to prioritize ruthlessly.
