Tanium is seeking a Senior Director of Global Sales Enablement to lead the sales enablement function across the organization. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving training and skills development programs that benefit the global sales team. Key responsibilities include overseeing new hire onboarding, ongoing training, certification programs, and account planning initiatives. The role is particularly focused on enabling Tanium's AI-driven product roadmap, including Atlas, an AI/agentic operating system. You will be central to ensuring the global sales team can sell this shift with fluency and conviction as new AI-powered capabilities ship. This requires building and owning the enablement strategy for AI/agentic capabilities, ensuring sellers can clearly articulate the value proposition. You will work closely with sales leaders to accelerate sales transformation by developing a comprehensive training and enablement roadmap for the enterprise sales team. Responsibilities include designing curriculum covering market, competition, company, products, services, sales processes, methodology, tools, and skills training. You will lead the Sales Enablement team to enhance onboarding plans, annual sales kickoffs, and continuous training programs. Additional duties include partnering with Product Marketing and Product to keep messaging and positioning current as the product roadmap evolves, monitoring and measuring training program effectiveness through evaluations and feedback, and motivating and coaching team members. Up to 10% travel is required. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales training design, development, and delivery, plus 5 years managing and directing an enablement team. A BS/BA degree or equivalent experience is required. Preferred candidates have 10+ years of relevant experience. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in one of the five office locations.
