As Senior Director of Sales Development for EMEA, you will own the complete strategy, structure, and performance of Perk's inbound and outbound SDR organization across all markets outside North America. You will lead approximately 140 sales development representatives and manage a team of 20 first and second-line managers, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategy & Operating Model: Define and evolve prospecting strategy balancing net-new generation with lead recycling. Own the SDR operating model including cadences, playbooks, tooling, and ways of working. Decide organizational structure, manager placement, territory splits, and resource allocation as the business scales.
Process, Tooling & AI Adoption: Make decisions on the SDR tech stack, sequencing and engagement tools, intent/enrichment data, call intelligence, and automation. Set standards for evaluating and adopting new tools and AI-assisted workflows while maintaining quality and compliance.
People Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and develop SDR managers and team leaders across regions. Own hiring and termination decisions, partner with talent acquisition on headcount and compensation positioning. Build and maintain SDR career paths (SDR → Senior SDR → Sales Engineer and adjacent tracks) and succession plans.
Pipeline, Performance & Reporting: Ensure high-quality pipeline generation with clear KPIs, activity standards, and conversion benchmarks by segment and channel. Own SDR productivity and ramp metrics. Build leadership-level reporting on team performance, capacity, and risk.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Marketing and RevOps on lead quality, routing, and tooling. Act as trusted partner to regional sales leadership and revenue leadership team. Collaborate with talent acquisition on hiring and compensation.
Required qualifications: Track record leading multi-region SDR or sales development function at meaningful scale with specific examples of organizational decisions and outcomes. Demonstrated ownership of hiring and performance decisions for large functions, including handling underperformance and building succession plans. Evidence of redesigning operating models in response to business needs. Working perspective on AI and automation in SDR work. Comfort with matrixed reporting and multiple regional stakeholders. Fluency in pipeline and productivity data analysis.
The role requires in-office presence 3 days per week at Perk's Barcelona hub.
