Veho is building modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure for ecommerce. The company powers seamless shopping, shipping, and returns for brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy's, and Sephora through a vertically integrated supply chain and next-generation technology. As Senior Director of Driver & Marketplace Product, you will own the entirety of Veho's driver-side product ecosystem. This encompasses driver acquisition, conversion, and onboarding; the driver mobile application; backend services for driver-to-offer matching and personalization; and route building and optimization. Currently, ownership of these critical levers is fragmented across teams, resulting in trade-offs between quality and productivity. This role consolidates full-loop ownership—driver supply, offer matching, and route construction—recognizing these systems are deeply interdependent and can only be optimized together. The complexity will intensify in 2027 as Veho introduces DSPs (Delivery Service Partners) alongside its marketplace, transforming a one-sided optimization problem into a genuine multi-channel marketplace. Key Responsibilities: Driver Acquisition, Onboarding & Lifecycle: Own the complete driver funnel from discovery through conversion, onboarding, and progression from new to tenured drivers. Own the driver mobile application end-to-end as the primary interface for route claiming and delivery. Build product levers for retention, engagement, and quality progression. Track funnel conversion, time-to-first-route, driver retention/tenure mix, and driver NPS. Offer Matching & Personalization: Own backend services that match drivers to route offers with core personalization capabilities. Evolve matching from static rules to learned systems accounting for driver preference, tenure, quality history, and network need. Own onboarding progression services moving drivers through lifecycle stages. Optimize offer acceptance rate, fill rate, time-to-fill, and abandon rate. Route Building & Optimization: Own route construction and optimization to drive PPH (packages per hour) and DCH (deliveries per hour) while minimizing OTD (on-time delivery) misses, defects, and abandons. Own route length decisions and logic for marketplace vs. DSP routing. Partner with Network Orchestration Product on sort-to-route handoffs. Manage PPH, DCH, OTD, defects, and abandons metrics. Marketplace Strategy & 2027 DSP Readiness: Design product architecture for multi-channel marketplace as DSPs launch. Build pricing, capacity, and channel-allocation mechanics balancing cost and quality across marketplace and DSP supply. Align product and ops on a single playbook. Track channel mix efficiency, marketplace liquidity, and cost per route by channel. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment: Build and lead the driver and marketplace product team; hire and develop PMs capable of deep optimization work. Serve as connective tissue between Last Mile ops leaders (CS Ops, Marketplace Ops), engineering, and data science. Maintain shared roadmap between product and ops to protect and deliver tech investment in the driver space. Requirements: Must Have: - 10+ years in product with demonstrated Senior Director-scope impact; years matter less than evidence of owning a marketplace product space end-to-end and leading product teams (Director level or above) in marketplace, logistics-tech, or gig-economy companies - Direct ownership of supply-side marketplace product (driver, courier, shopper, or dasher acquisition, matching, and engagement at scale) - Ownership of P&L-critical metric sets where product decisions measurably moved unit economics - Experience leading product through step-change in marketplace complexity (adding supply channel, launching new market model, or scaling supply 5-10x) - Track record managing PMs and partnering daily with data science and engineering on optimization systems Good to Have: - Route optimization or vehicle routing-adjacent product experience (routing engines, dispatch, delivery promise systems) - Experience introducing or managing third-party fleet/DSP-style supply alongside gig marketplace - Experience at both large tech-enabled operator and high-growth startup (scale rigor plus scrappiness) - Technical undergraduate degree or hands-on analytical background (SQL-fluent, runs own queries)
