Celonis is seeking a Senior Value Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor helping enterprise customers achieve strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role combines consulting expertise with deep process optimization knowledge to drive measurable business impact.
You will own the end-to-end value journey for assigned customers—from initial landing through expansion, adoption, and renewal. Working closely with sales teams and Celonis Services, you will translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact use cases, build compelling business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks, and conduct value assessments or proof-of-value projects. You will facilitate business value workshops to identify process enhancement opportunities, derive improvement measures across core functions, and present realized value to C-level executives.
Key responsibilities include discovering and framing value by identifying strategic priorities and building demos; realizing value through workshops and change initiatives; and scaling value by building expansion roadmaps and embedding Celonis as a strategic transformation platform. You will also provide feedback to product teams on new use cases and enhancements.
Required qualifications: native-level German proficiency (essential for leading customer workshops and executive presentations in German); 5+ years in an analytical, customer-facing role such as Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Management Consulting at a software/SaaS provider or consultancy; alternatively, inhouse experience in a Center of Excellence for Data/Analytics/Intelligence. Strong knowledge of business software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience implementing RPA, BI tools, dashboards, or action flows; proficiency in Python and/or SQL; and experience collaborating with IT teams. Demonstrated expertise in identifying business process improvement use cases, deploying improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users to realize value. Solid project management skills managing multiple concurrent projects at different lifecycle stages, with ability to manage scope, expectations, and timelines.
