You will join the Data Services Team as a Senior Data Engineer, responsible for designing and building critical internal data infrastructure. Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining a Feature Store—a centralized system for managing machine learning features—alongside other data services that power the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and developing the Feature Store and future data services
- Building and optimizing EL/ELT/ETL pipelines to process large volumes of transaction data
- Integrating new tools and technologies for data processing and storage
- Ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and performant at high load
- Performing operational tasks and maintenance on data infrastructure
You bring 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in building high-load, scalable systems. You have deep expertise in event-driven architectures and streaming pipelines, with proficiency in Python and SQL following best practices. You understand system design principles and are comfortable with a modern data stack including Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery/Clickhouse, PostgreSQL/CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and GCP.
Bonus qualifications include Go development experience, familiarity with modern data storage systems (relational, MPP, NoSQL), and hands-on Google Cloud Platform expertise.
