We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Services Team. You will design and develop internal data infrastructure solutions, including a Feature Store and other data services that power our analytics and machine learning capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining a Feature Store and other data service platforms
- Building and optimizing EL/ELT/ETL pipelines for high-volume transaction data
- Integrating new tools and technologies for data processing and storage
- Ensuring scalability and reliability of data systems handling billions in transaction volume
- Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and backend teams to support data-driven decision-making
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer
- Proven experience developing high-load, scalable data processing and storage systems
- Strong expertise in event-driven systems and streaming pipelines
- Proficiency in Python and SQL with knowledge of best practices
- System design expertise
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery/Clickhouse, PostgreSQL/CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and GCP
- Understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, message brokers, and queue systems
Bonus skills:
- Go development experience
- Experience with modern data storage systems (relational, MPP, NoSQL)
- Google Cloud Platform expertise
