Klaviyo is seeking a Senior CX Compensation Analyst to support the administration and continuous improvement of incentive compensation programs for the Customer Experience organization. This role sits within the GTM Incentive Compensation team, which owns the design, governance, administration, and operational integrity of incentive compensation programs across Klaviyo's go-to-market organization.
You will specialize in Customer Experience compensation, owning plan design, crediting data logic, modeling expected commission expense, and inquiry resolution for that population, while also contributing to the incentive compensation process more broadly across the full GTM organization. This is a mid-level individual contributor role ideal for someone who wants to build deep expertise in compensation operations while developing broad exposure to sales operations, finance, and systems work.
Key responsibilities include:
**Customer Experience Compensation Administration:** Administer monthly and quarterly incentive compensation calculations for the Customer Experience organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payouts. Apply crediting logic and plan rules consistently, flagging exceptions or edge cases for review. Maintain compensation plan documentation, quota and target records, and payee assignments for the CX population. Partner with CX leaders to answer plan questions and explain payout calculations.
**Ticket Resolution & Stakeholder Support:** Serve as a first point of contact for compensation inquiries and disputes submitted via ticketing systems, researching and resolving issues within SLA. Investigate discrepancies by tracing transactions through Salesforce and underlying data sources. Escalate complex or policy-level questions to the Senior Manager with clear context and recommendations.
**Reporting, Analytics & Modeling:** Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau or Looker to track attainment, payouts, and plan performance. Write SQL queries to pull, validate, and reconcile compensation and transaction data. Support financial modeling and scenario analysis for plan design changes, budgeting, and accruals. Identify data quality issues and partner with Systems teams on fixes and process improvements.
**Cross-Functional Process Support:** Support the broader Incentive Compensation team during planning cycles including plan rollouts, quota loading, and documentation. Partner with Systems and Finance teams on process improvements, automation, and audit/controls work. Contribute to team operating cadences and documentation standards that scale across all GTM functions.
The role requires strong analytical and modeling skills, comfort working in Salesforce and BI tools, and the communication skills to explain compensation outcomes clearly to plan participants and leaders alike. You will report to the Senior Manager, GTM Incentive Compensation. The position is based in Boston with a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in office. Up to 10% travel may be required for new hire onboarding, team meetings, and industry events.
**Requirements:**
- 3–5 years of experience in compensation, on either sales/revenue operations or finance teams
- SQL experience required; comfort querying and validating data from multiple sources
- Experience working with Salesforce (or comparable CRM) and compensation management tools
- Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau or Looker, and ETL tools (Python, Alteryx, etc.) preferred
- Strong modeling skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets); financial or compensation modeling experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain compensation logic clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with experience managing a queue or ticket volume a plus
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with CX leaders, Systems, Operations, and Finance teams
