Salary: USD 220,000 - 240,000 / annual
Cyera is hiring a Senior Customer Success Engineer to serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor for enterprise customers adopting AI securely. The role focuses on optimizing customer utilization and ROI of Cyera's data security and AI trust infrastructure platform used by Fortune 1000 companies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary technical expert on the Cyera Platform, providing in-depth knowledge to customers at all levels from practitioners to executives
- Driving customer adoption through consultative onboarding, training, and customized use case design aligned with business outcomes
- Proactively ensuring customers maximize ROI and realize full platform value through sustained adoption
- Identifying and resolving technical obstacles and blockers that impede customer success
- Conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, monitoring customer health metrics, and developing joint success plans
- Advocating for customer feedback to influence product roadmap and development
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth platform operation
- Mentoring team members and participating in hiring to build the customer success organization
- Documenting and sharing best practices internally and externally
Required qualifications include:
- 12+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles at software companies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience with data technologies, cloud infrastructure, and administration (networking, IAM, compute assets)
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Proven track record owning customer relationships through onboarding, renewal, and expansion
- Excellent communication skills for both executive meetings and technical workshops
- Self-starter thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
- Ability to work autonomously on complex challenges
The role includes 25-50% annual travel to engage directly with clients. This is a full-time position based in the US with remote flexibility.
