Salary: USD 132,000 - 166,000 / annual
ClickHouse, a Forbes Cloud 100 company and leader in real-time analytics and data warehousing, is seeking a Senior Curriculum Developer & Instructor to join its fast-growing Learning Team. The role combines curriculum design, content creation, and instructor delivery across multiple formats.
Key responsibilities include developing ClickHouse training courses for on-demand and instructor-led delivery (slides, videos, hands-on labs); designing new courses for various personas in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams; producing high-quality content for ClickHouse Academy; teaching courses virtually and in-person for public and private audiences; creating and deploying quizzes and certification exams; building community presence through social media and conference talks; and traveling to meetups, conferences, and customer sites to deliver training.
Required qualifications: self-motivated with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment; quick learner of new technologies; proven experience developing curriculum for highly technical audiences (software engineers, database developers); demonstrated teaching ability across diverse audience sizes and backgrounds; ability to travel regionally throughout Asia and Australia; SQL experience; technical breadth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and big data; excellent communication skills; and strong ownership mentality.
Bonus qualifications include 5+ years curriculum development experience with databases/distributed systems; strong ML and GenAI knowledge; ClickHouse experience; cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure); software certification exam building experience; cross-functional collaboration skills; and technical degree (Computer Science or related).
