Gong is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Engineer to design, implement, and scale security controls across endpoint, identity, SaaS, email, collaboration, zero-trust access, and data protection for a global, distributed workforce. This is a hands-on senior engineering role within the Corporate Security Engineering team, part of Gong's Cyber Defense organization.
You will own key parts of Gong's corporate security engineering roadmap, including endpoint security engineering across macOS, Windows, and Linux fleets with EDR coverage, hardening baselines, and containment readiness. You'll drive identity and access security initiatives including SSO, phishing-resistant MFA, passwordless adoption, conditional access, device trust, PAM, and service-account hygiene.
Additional ownership areas include email and collaboration security controls across email, Slack, and Drive; SaaS security posture management and shadow IT discovery; zero-trust and corporate network security for distributed workforces; data protection and insider-risk capabilities; corporate vulnerability and baseline management; security guardrails for employee AI tool use; and automation/integrations that scale the security program.
You'll solve challenges around building preventive controls without friction, designing scalable protections for global systems, governing OAuth and shadow IT safely, improving data protection for sensitive assets (customer data, revenue data, source code, AI/ML assets), reducing manual work through automation, and partnering across IT, DRE, People, Legal, GRC, and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is a senior technical security builder with experience in corporate or enterprise security engineering in modern SaaS/cloud environments. You should be strong in multiple areas: endpoint security, identity security, PAM, email security, collaboration security, SSPM, ZTNA, DLP, insider risk, and vulnerability management. You combine deep technical judgment with a builder mindset, strong cross-functional partnership, and pragmatism about reducing risk without slowing business.
