Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 / annual

As Senior Corporate Development & Strategy Associate, you will work directly alongside the CEO and COO on decisions that shape RapidSOS's future. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role spanning fundraising, M&A, strategic partnerships, and commercial opportunities in new verticals. You will transform complex analysis into clear narratives through sharp financial models and polished presentations that resonate with senior executives and the board. The role emphasizes AI-forward work: AI tools handle first-pass analysis like dataroom review, freeing your time for judgment calls that matter most.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own RapidSOS's core growth model, including revenue growth levers, key SaaS metrics, and scenario analyses that inform leadership decisions and board reporting
- Build financial and operational models and business cases for M&A, strategic investments, partnerships, and new product development
- Lead diligence efforts, using AI to accelerate initial data room review while determining which areas warrant deepest scrutiny
- Partner with sales, finance, and operations to shape forward growth plans, including go-to-market strategy, new vertical development, and M&A integration
- Support leadership on high-priority business development opportunities in new verticals, structuring materials and narratives that move deals forward
- Create executive- and board-ready presentations and analyses using tools like Claude, Coworker, and Replit
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking or similar field
- Hands-on experience with three-statement modeling and key SaaS metrics
- Exceptional analytical skills and high attention to detail; polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills; fluency in Excel/PowerPoint or Google Suite
- Comfort working directly with senior executives and board members; ability to distill complex analysis into clear narrative
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for using AI tools to automate routine analysis and elevate work quality
- Tenacity to work independently and as part of a team to overcome obstacles and solve problems
- Low ego, strong work ethic, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Based in NYC and able to work from NYC office 2-3 times per week, with flexibility depending on projects
- Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time on as-needed basis
