Motive is a SaaS platform that empowers physical operations teams—safety, operations, and finance—with tools to manage drivers, vehicles, equipment, and fleet spend in a single system. The company serves nearly 100,000 customers across transportation, logistics, construction, energy, field service, manufacturing, agriculture, food & beverage, retail, and public sector. As Senior Content Marketing Strategist, you will own the strategy, development, and outcomes of Motive's most important content programs. This is a senior individual contributor role that translates audience and business priorities into differentiated, full-funnel content that moves enterprise and strategic prospects through the buying and expansion journey. Key responsibilities include: - Set strategy, roadmap, and editorial direction for high-impact content programs (thought leadership, flagship research, proprietary data reports, long-form editorial) aligned to brand, audience, and pipeline priorities. - Own complex, full-funnel content programs end-to-end: opportunity identification, strategic brief, production, distribution, optimization, and measurement. - Build and lead customer- and expert-first content programs through executive interviews, SME conversations, customer research, and user-generated content in partnership with Customer Marketing. - Use content, audience, and business-performance data to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, improve distribution, and demonstrate content's contribution to brand and pipeline goals. - Serve as strategic content advisor to cross-functional partners (PMM, campaigns, demand gen, customer marketing, communications, SEO, brand, sales, executives), shaping messaging and program priorities. - Identify systemic content gaps and build scalable, AI-enabled approaches that improve quality, speed, consistency, and measurable impact across the content ecosystem. - Own content portions of cross-functional projects (annual research reports, event content, product launches), driving quality and timeline adherence. - Set editorial standards and elevate overall quality and voice of Motive's external content. You bring deep content craft and strategic judgment. You are comfortable defining programs, identifying opportunities, setting roadmaps, aligning stakeholders, and measuring results. You understand how AI can sustainably enable and accelerate content programs while applying critical human judgment, taste, and direction. You do not need a playbook—you build the strategy and operating model for the next phase of Motive's content engine.
