Arc is electrifying the marine industry by rethinking powertrains, software, and vessel designs from first principles. The company has proven core technology, is scaling production of its flagship consumer model, and is now extending its platform to commercial applications including tugs, ferries, and defense—with years of signed contracts and a robust pipeline.
You'll own the editorial calendar and content roadmap end-to-end, from strategy through execution. Your responsibilities include setting Arc's voice and point of view across consumer and commercial audiences, producing and directing content across all formats (long-form, video, social, scripts, web, campaign assets), and managing freelance contractors to maintain quality without sacrificing speed. You'll partner closely with Creative on production and Brand on positioning to ensure content reflects the company's trajectory. You'll also shape product marketing narratives around launches and technical milestones, turning them into stories people want to follow.
This is a builder's role where you'll set the roadmap and ship the work yourself. You'll work alongside a small, fast-moving team reporting to the Head of Marketing, where your work is visible and directly impacts the company's ability to win.
You bring 5+ years of experience creating content for brands with technical, complex, or category-defining products. Your portfolio demonstrates range, sharp writing, strong creative direction, and pieces that broke through. You've owned voice and editorial strategy across multiple audiences—ideally spanning consumer and technical or B2B content. You have strong editorial judgment, experience directing and briefing freelance talent, and a bias for shipping: publishing, learning, and iterating rather than waiting for perfection. You're comfortable moving fast in environments where priorities shift and people wear multiple hats.
Bonus experience includes maritime, deep tech, or advanced hardware backgrounds; work at companies where products were ahead of market understanding; familiarity with premium consumer brands or EV; and enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
