Payoneer, a global financial platform founded in 2005, is seeking a Senior Content Manager to own regional content strategy across LATAM (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile). Reporting to the Senior Director of Regional Marketing, you will be based in Buenos Aires in a hybrid role.
You will own the full content strategy lifecycle: defining how content builds awareness, positioning and pipeline across personas and markets; connecting content output to business KPIs including pipeline contribution, activation rates and retention signals. You'll write and produce high-impact content—blogs, thought leadership, web copy, campaign assets, email nurtures, case studies and social—with a focus on quality and business impact over volume.
A core responsibility is building positioning that addresses real LATAM pain points: FX volatility, USD access constraints, cross-border payment friction and informal economy dynamics facing SMBs, freelancers and marketplace sellers. You'll lead localization as a revenue lever, adapting web, blog, email, campaign and product content into Spanish and Portuguese for native readability and conversion. You'll flag funnel drop-off points where content quality impacts activation or onboarding rates.
You will drive awareness and search visibility through SEO/AEO strategies adapted to LATAM search behavior, build earned media presence with local fintech press and influencers, and manage the agency and partner ecosystem across markets—holding them to outcomes, not just outputs. You'll serve as the intelligence layer between LATAM and global teams, surfacing local trends, competitive moves, regulatory shifts and ICP behavior while ensuring global campaigns land with regional relevance.
Navigating economic volatility is essential: in markets with high inflation, currency controls or macro uncertainty (Argentina, Brazil), you'll adapt content cadence, messaging tone and channel mix in response to business conditions. You'll own a content performance dashboard, reporting on what's working, what isn't and what you're changing—not just outputs.
Required: 6+ years in content, editorial or growth marketing with multi-market scope, ideally in B2B fintech, payments, SaaS or professional services targeting SMBs or freelancers. Exceptional writing and editing skills in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a meaningful advantage. Strong positioning instincts in complex B2B landscapes, fluency in localization as a discipline (cultural adaptation, regulatory language, market-specific tone calibration), and comfort connecting content to commercial outcomes (pipeline stages, onboarding drop-off, activation metrics). Experience managing agencies across markets and strong project management skills required. Familiarity with LATAM business and fintech landscape is essential.
Advantages: native or near-native Portuguese with Brazilian editorial experience, established network across LATAM media and fintech, hands-on experience with WordPress, localization tooling (Phrase, Lokalise) and Salesforce.
