Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to support its global People & Culture organization from the Long Beach headquarters. This role reports to the Director, Total Rewards and serves as a strategic business partner to P&C leadership and business units on compensation strategy, design, and administration. Key responsibilities include: - Partner with P&C and business leadership on hiring, promotions, organizational initiatives, and annual compensation programs - Design and manage global compensation architecture, including job creation and salary structures - Conduct quantitative analysis, data modeling, and market research to inform strategic people decisions - Participate in compensation surveys and aggregate compensation data - Develop training and communication programs for recruiters, HR professionals, and managers on compensation practices - Research and recommend innovative compensation tools, including AI-enabled solutions - Develop comprehensive total rewards strategy and roadmap - Collaborate with IT on process improvements and systems enhancements - Provide analytical support for total rewards compliance - Review and approve compensation requests for new hires and internal transfers - Present recommendations and analyses to leadership Required qualifications: - 8+ years of compensation analysis and administration experience with a bachelor's degree (or 12+ years total work experience) - Experience leading internal and external market analysis - Advanced Excel proficiency including modeling and analysis Desired qualifications include master's degree, experience managing compensation in corporate functions or M&A contexts, stock-based compensation expertise, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credential, and AI/compensation technology experience.
