Isar Aerospace, a fast-growing space technology company, is seeking a Senior Compensation & HR Controlling Specialist to lead compensation strategy and HR cost management in a dynamic, internationally expanding environment. You will own the full compensation lifecycle: lead salary benchmarking activities, provide market-informed compensation recommendations, and review salary offers as a trusted advisor to leadership. You'll drive the annual salary review cycle to ensure consistency and competitiveness across the organization, while managing and continuously improving bonus and commission programs. On the financial side, you'll own HR budgeting, personnel cost planning, and forecasting processes. You'll deliver monthly workforce cost reporting, variance analyses, and actionable management insights to support business decisions. You'll also support the Employee Participation Programme (EPP), including contract creation, leaver agreements, and related governance. A key part of your role is identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities to scale compensation practices as the company grows. You'll work closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to ensure data-driven decision-making. Required: Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, HR Controlling, Finance, or Workforce Planning. Strong analytical and numerical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, budgeting and forecasting experience, and excellent stakeholder management. Fluent in English; German is advantageous. Bonus skills: experience with Workday, Adaptive Planning, Carta, or similar systems; equity program experience; background in fast-growing tech, aerospace, engineering, or scale-up environments.
