The Senior Compensation Analyst is a key individual contributor on the Total Rewards team, responsible for compensation analysis, market research, and program administration that inform Apptronik's pay strategy. You will work independently on complex compensation analyses, serve as a trusted advisor to People Partners and business leaders on pay-related questions, and help evolve compensation programs and tools to support a rapidly growing technical workforce.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct job evaluations and leveling assessments across multiple job families, ensuring alignment with career ladders and market standards
- Manage participation in compensation surveys and analyze results to inform competitive pay positioning
- Provide consultative support to People Partners, recruiters, and business leaders on pay decisions, job architecture, and policy interpretation
- Analyze compensation data and develop insights on salary structures, pay equity, and incentive plan design
- Support design and administration of salary structures, merit cycles, bonus programs, and equity programs
- Ensure compliance with pay-related regulations (FLSA, pay transparency laws) and assist with audits
- Contribute to cross-functional projects including compensation redesigns, technology implementations, and organizational changes affecting pay
- Prepare and present compensation analyses and recommendations to People and business leaders
- Build and maintain compensation models, tools, and documentation; share knowledge with teammates
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive practices; bring forward improvement ideas
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of compensation experience in progressively responsible roles
- Working knowledge of compensation strategy, market pricing, job architecture, and pay equity
- Solid understanding of compensation compliance (FLSA, pay transparency laws) with ability to identify and escalate risk early
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with compensation systems and market data sources (e.g., Radford, Pave, Workday)
- Clear communication and presentation skills; ability to advise and influence non-compensation partners
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently in fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and change; bias toward practical, data-driven improvements
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred
- Experience in technology, robotics, life sciences, or other competitive global industries is a plus
