This role owns the strategic relationship between the studio and player community, serving as the voice of the game across all community channels and the voice of players inside the studio.
Key responsibilities include: daily engagement with players (F2P, paying customers, and VIPs) across all community platforms; translating community sentiment, trends, and feedback into strategic insights that shape product decisions; developing and executing player communication strategy for major launches, sensitive topics, and high-impact moments through blogs, videos, social media, and in-game messaging; owning the strategy and continuous improvement of community initiatives and player programs that foster belonging; partnering cross-functionally with Product, Live Ops, Marketing, and Player Experience teams throughout feature development; ensuring the community knows when their feedback drives studio action; and mentoring junior Community Managers to raise team standards and processes.

Required skills include strong judgment in player communication and escalation handling, cross-functional collaboration experience, excellent written and editorial instincts with tone flexibility, ability to translate player sentiment into actionable recommendations, data-informed decision-making, and strong organizational skills in fast-paced environments. Bonus experience includes work on large midcore F2P mobile games, creator program support, and community-led content initiatives.
