As Senior Communications Manager, you'll be a critical individual contributor reporting to the Head of Communications, responsible for driving Cresta's earned media strategy and brand narrative. Your primary focus is building and maintaining relationships with top-tier business and tech journalists, editors, and podcasters, ensuring Cresta is positioned as a thought leader in AI and customer experience technology. Key responsibilities include: developing earned media strategy for major announcements (corporate news, partnerships, product milestones, industry leadership moments); preparing executives and subject matter experts for media and speaking engagements; partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, HR, and Product teams to align communications with business objectives; identifying and elevating thought leadership opportunities; spotting emerging narratives in AI/CX/enterprise tech; drafting communications materials (press releases, presentations, blog posts, social copy); and securing industry awards and speaking opportunities. You'll need 6+ years of progressive communications experience with significant time in corporate communications roles at high-growth B2B AI/technology companies. Essential qualifications include exceptional written and verbal communication skills, sharp instincts for messaging and narrative, established relationships with enterprise tech and AI journalists, outstanding media skills, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to execute high-volume projects independently. Preferred experience includes building narratives for companies transitioning from challenger to category leader and familiarity with customer experience technology or CX AI. The role is based in San Francisco, London, or New York with in-office presence required.
