Salary: USD 200,000 - 220,000 / annual
Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Executive to drive growth across the East region. You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with existing customers while managing forecasts and customer data in a consultative sales approach.
Key responsibilities include identifying new opportunities to expand Grafana usage within current customers, meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals, and managing all aspects of the sales process from prospecting through account management. You will cultivate sales through both outbound prospecting and inbound leads, become an expert in Salesforce pipeline management, and handle quote creation and order processing.
You will need to understand and articulate the value of both Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise to customers. The role requires excellent communication across all channels—in person, online, and in writing—with the ability to form strong working relationships both virtually and in person.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales, a demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement as a top 10% performer, and proficiency with Salesforce. You should be energetic, entrepreneurial, tenacious, adaptable, and experienced in high-velocity technology companies.
Bonus qualifications include familiarity with open source technology and experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC sales methodologies.
