Salary: USD 140,000 - 170,000 / annual
Skydio, the leading US autonomous drone company, is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for its Go-To-Market and G&A organizations. This is a strategic talent partnership role reporting to senior leadership, with responsibility for driving hiring strategies that enable company scaling across defense, public safety, and enterprise segments.
Key responsibilities include owning end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution for GTM and G&A roles; partnering with senior business leaders and executives to translate organizational goals into effective hiring plans; acting as a trusted advisor to hiring teams on talent decisions, interview processes, and organizational design; proactively building and maintaining diverse, high-quality talent pipelines through creative sourcing, market mapping, and networking; leading strategic talent discussions with insights on market trends and competitive positioning; collaborating cross-functionally to design and scale recruiting processes that are efficient, data-driven, and growth-aligned; leveraging recruiting data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize hiring outcomes; and mentoring recruiting best practices across the team.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong track record hiring for GTM, G&A, and/or Operations roles in high-growth, high-performance environments; proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence hiring decisions at multiple organizational levels; exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; deep experience with modern recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, Greenhouse); demonstrated success sourcing and closing passive talent in competitive markets; strong analytical mindset using data to drive recruiting strategy; high attention to detail balancing speed, quality, and process in fast-paced environments; and collaborative, team-first approach with passion for continuous improvement.
Nice-to-have: blend of in-house and agency recruiting experience; experience with international hiring practices across EMEA and APAC regions including regional talent markets, compliance, and hiring nuances.
Role is based in San Mateo with expectation of 3 days/week in-office. US-based remote arrangements may be considered for candidates with strong alignment to core requirements. Remote employees may be required to travel periodically to San Mateo headquarters.
