FISPAN is an Enterprise SaaS FinTech company that enables banks to deploy embedded financial products and services through corporate clients' preferred ERP and accounting platforms. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in downtown Vancouver, FISPAN partners with Tier 1 banks including J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, TD, and Bank of Montreal. You will own Payments & Bank Connectivity for multiple dedicated bank partners in a senior, product-adjacent role with end-to-end ownership. This spans commercial and technical onboarding, scoping and engineering delivery, certification, go-live, and post-launch activities. You'll serve as the primary liaison between bank partners and FISPAN's Engineering, QA, PMO, and Support teams, while influencing platform strategy for scaling safe, reusable connectivity. Key Responsibilities: - Act as FISPAN's single technical and business lead for assigned bank partners - Translate commercial commitments and bank requirements into detailed Scoping Documents, data mappings, transformation rules, interface diagrams, and end-to-end test plans - Produce and maintain JIRA epics and stories with clear, testable Given/When/Then acceptance criteria; enforce Definition of Ready with functional test cases in GitHub - Coordinate design reviews with Technical Bank SMEs, Architecture, and Engineering; document and manage platform versus bank-specific exceptions - Lead certification and UAT with banks: coordinate QA end-to-end automation, manage sandbox/mocks (Montebank/SFTP), and secure certification sign-off - Validate production readiness: runbooks, monitoring/alerting, key/certificate lifecycle management, rollback plans, and support handover - Own incident escalation and post-mortems for assigned connectors; drive durable remediation - Champion BA/connectivity standards and reusable artifacts; mentor junior BAs and raise team capability Why This Role Matters: Bank integrations are core to FISPAN's product value. The Senior BA ensures partner success, mitigates operational risk, and helps shape which capabilities become platform features versus partner-specific solutions. If you enjoy technical problem-solving, negotiating with external partners, and driving rigorous testing and certification, this role is ideal. Culture & Benefits: FISPAN operates with a "we over me" mentality, fostering strong collaborative bonds built on trust and candor. The company offers best-in-class equipment (modern MacBook and Apple gear), a prime downtown Vancouver office with coastal views and fitness center access, generous work-from-anywhere flexibility, fully stocked cupboards, weekly catered team lunches, and daily JJ Bean coffee. Additional benefits include extended health and dental, paid time off, retirement plan matching, parenthood top-up, mentorship programs, and leadership development series. Requirements: - 5+ years in business analysis, product, integration, or payments roles (bank connectivity experience highly preferred) - Deep working knowledge of payment and connectivity standards: ISO 20022/ISO XML, NACHA, IFX, and common flat-file formats - Hands-on familiarity with SFTP, TLS/certificates, encryption, REST APIs, OAuth, and mock/test infrastructures (e.g., Montebank) - Proven experience running bank certification programs and coordinating bank UAT cycles - Strong Agile delivery experience: JIRA, backlog management, Definition of Ready enforcement - Comfortable with test automation concepts, CI/CD, and GitHub-based test artifacts - Excellent stakeholder management and ability to negotiate technical and operational trade-offs with senior bank counterparts - Strong analytical skills (SQL or analytics tools such as Qlik/Tableau) and technical troubleshooting (JSON/XML, Postman, logs) Nice-to-Have: - Experience with ERP/accounting system integrations - Familiarity with regulatory/security requirements for financial integrations (PII, vendor assessments) - Prior experience in product or program leadership at a SaaS company - Degree in business, finance, computer science, or related field; relevant industry certifications
