Splice is seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to own the voice of Splice across organic social channels and the Discord community. This is a highly visible, hands-on role central to Splice's strategic direction. You will plan and publish content, run community programming, engage directly with producers in comments, DMs, and Discord, and use performance data to inform future initiatives. Splice is a creative platform for music producers, offering an industry-leading catalog of sounds and samples, an expanding AI stack, and a rent-to-own marketplace for DAWs and plugins. The company serves a global community of chart-topping producers, students, and DIY creators. Key responsibilities include: **Social:** Own organic social strategy and publishing calendar across all Splice channels from ideation through optimization. Create and edit content yourself with fast turnaround and strong editorial instinct. Engage directly with producers as the voice of Splice in comments, DMs, and replies. Spot and act on cultural moments and trends in real time. Partner with brand, product, and community teams to turn launches and platform news into native content. Source and amplify community and creator-generated content. **Community:** Manage and grow the Splice Discord server, keeping conversation active and welcoming. Plan and run recurring community programming including beat battles, challenges, and remix competitions. Start and sustain regular conversations that give producers reasons to return and share work. Work with moderators to maintain community health and bring insights back to the business. **Data & Reporting:** Track performance across social and community channels and translate metrics into clear recommendations. Use data to make decisions on content, programming, and channel investment. Report on channel health, community growth, and engagement regularly. Develop workflows to move faster and produce more. **Growth:** As the Splice portfolio expands, take on strategy and management of social and community channels for additional brands. The role is remote (US-based) with Los Angeles preferred but not required. Splice embraces remote work with colleagues across the US and UK, supported by regular communication including town halls and departmental all-hands. **Requirements:** - 5+ years managing social channels for a brand, artist, label, or creator-facing company, with portfolio examples - Experience owning multi-channel organic social presence (not single platform) - Experience speaking directly to creator audiences, ideally in music or adjacent creative categories - You make music with a DAW and understand production workflows from the inside; can speak to producers as a peer - Proven track record building and engaging community (not just growing follower counts), including hands-on Discord or comparable community space experience - Experience planning and running community programming such as contests, challenges, or competitions - Native fluency across major social platforms, including formats, editing conventions, and publishing tools for short-form video, long-form video, and text-based channels - Strong comfort with social and community analytics; ability to turn data into decisions and clear business reporting - Hands-on experience and genuine appetite for new tools as they emerge - Strong writing and natural instinct for tone; ability to be funny, direct, and human without sounding like a brand account **Nice to haves:** - Based in Los Angeles with ability to attend shoots, sessions, and creator meet-ups in person - Experience with Blender or other 3D rendering/animation tools - Comfortable being on camera and featured in Splice content - Existing relationships in producer, artist, or label community - Motion design, photography, or audio editing skills
